PONY RYDER: When and how did you start modeling?
YULIA LEONTIEVA: I started modeling when I was 16 years in Latvia. I went to a model school where we learnt catwalking. Then my agency gave me a casting for Paris agency "Metropolitan" , they liked me and I started.

YULIA LEONTIEVA: I changed agency in Paris now I’m with Silent before I was with Metropolitan and my mother agency as well before it was Gints Bude now its ALmodelsNY.

PONY RYDER: What is the hardest thing for you as a model?
YULIA LEONTIEVA: I like modeling , so it's easy for me , but sometimes when I’m tired it's hard to do a shoot and look perfect and show my expressions , or during the fashion week wake up early if I finish my castings and fittings late. But I have one day off and again I love my job.

PONY RYDER: What would you be if you were not a model?
YULIA LEONTIEVA: I would be studying at my high school and then I would go to the university. I love math so I would be doing something with this.

PONY RYDER: What do you like about Paris, any particular place?
YULIA LEONTIEVA: I love Paris, I think it's amazing , and so beautifu. When the weather is good I love staying with friends in a park near the Eiffel tower, or just walk near Louvre, and in Paris I have my best friend and sometimes we go around Paris with a scooter, it's so funny. Paris is one of my favorite places, I would like to live there.

YULIA LEONTIEVA: I was a little bit scared, but when I went to the podium I started to feel that I like it , when people watch at me and all photographers take pictures . Now I love this feeling and, of course, I’m not scared anymore, and all the time I want do more and more shows .

YULIA LEONTIEVA: My very good friend is Anya Kazakova. I would love to do all shows with her. But on the shows I have fun with everyone. It's only the people I know, it's good to make new friends .

YULIA LEONTIEVA: I prefer runway - it is faster than editorial, but in pictures you can show yourself and it's something new all the time , new expressions, every shooting gives something new for me and my book and it's important. When u work for good magazines, you can feel everyone is so professional and then it's easier and interesting. And of course, next time I will do it better.

I'm from Malaysia, and there are few malaysian models that successfully penetrate into international market like Ling Tan and ... Gwen Lu, but as i scrolled through sites of Malaysia' agencies I was absolutely flabbergasted looking at their talents, nothing like any international models.. all are slightly huge and short.
I hope with blog like yours, it could educate modeling agency owners in Malaysia.

I find this girl especially astonishing! She has beautiful face matched with amazing figure. But most of all, her hair is perfect.
She is one of my favorite newcomers. I'm so sad because of Miu Miu campaign. I guess that Muccia din't had enough money. I see no point in only Holmes being the face. I actually want to see catreses only in movies.
