Healthy Apple Crisp
Filling:
-6 apples (I used 4 Granny Smith and 2 Fuji) peeled and sliced thin
-1 tbsp Cinnamon (or pumpkin pie spice if you want it spicier)
-1 tsp Vanilla Extract
-2 tbsp honey-1/4 c Splenda or other sweetener
-1 tbsp flour- 1 tbsp orange or lemon juice
- 1/4 raisins (opt)-pinch of saltTopping:
- 1c Old Fashioned oats
-1/4 c brown sugar substitute or regular
-1/2 whole wheat flour-3 tbsp applesauce or apple butter
-1 egg white
- 2 tbsp melted butter
-1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp cinnamon
Preheat oven to 350. Grease a baking dish (8x8 or a casserole dish). Mix the apples with all the filling ingredients. Pour into baking dish. Mix the dry ingredients together for the topping (oats, flour, sugar, salt, and cinnamon). Mix the melted (cooled) butter, egg white, and applesauce. Pour the dry into the wet and mix well. It should be a little crumbly.- Put the topping on the apples and bake for 30-40 minutes until the apples are soft and the topping is crunchy a little.

KATHLEEN BURBRIDGE: Probably when I was younger and I was being shot in a studio where the fan was blowing loud and the window was open and the photographer was telling me to do things and I kept saying, excuse me, excuse me, because I wouldn't hear. And then he was like WHERE ARE YOU FROM, because he thought I didn't understand English. I thought the shoot would go downhill from there but it was great! CONTINUE HERE

PR: How long did the trip to Seoul last?
SAMANTHA YPMA: I flew from Edmonton with a connection in San Francisco, I flew with United Airlines. The flight from San Fran to Seoul was a long one, 12 hours!
PR: Do you take that travel pillow with you, like some people on planes? You must admit they are badly needed sometimes.
SAMANTHA YPMA: Luckily the airline provided everyone with a pillow and a blanket which was awesome; I needed the sleep for sure.

I also shot a lookbook for a brand called Nohke J and I think those are some of my favorite clothes I`ve ever seen, amazing coats and just really beautiful pieces.

I`ve really never been one to enjoy working out but I do love to go for a good run so I`ve mostly been using the treadmill there. I also climbed mount Namsan and went up to the Seoul tower which was a nice workout, lots of stairs!
PR: Were you warned that you have to avoid something..?
SAMANTHA YPMA: There were really no places I was warned of, even walking around there late at night and even into the morning people are all around, I’ve really felt quite safe everywhere I’ve been - which is great.

MICHAEL TINTIUC: I’m sorry, but I just can’t stand “clubbing”
PONY RYDER: And what do you like?
MICHAEL TINTIUC: I just like doing - what I like, you can always find time to do things that you love.
Some people like clubbing, excessive alcohol and drugs and say that this is what being young is all about, but there are adults that enjoy spending time the same way.In my opinion youth is given for a reason, which is to find and understand what your interests are and who you’re going to be in future. People that want - are looking for a way and people who don’t are looking for a reason.
